Legit looking invites can turn into a nightmare as scammers steal would-be podcast guests' online accounts during the tech setup.
This is a great tactic everyone should know, from Matt Hardigree:
"I spent about five minutes researching it and decided it wasn't even worth having this person know we had functional email addresses"
When in doubt, first DON'T CLICK. But if a quick set of searches doesn't allay your doubts, DON'T REPLY.

On the subject of scams, has anyone else gotten a fake "Substack Support" phishing email?
